How it all started...
Community Connection was birthed out of a desire to see people connect to the love of God. Pastor Bryan Morgan prayed about a place to meet with people who had a desire to minister to the community. The Lord graciously opened the door to begin meeting in the afternoons at the original site for the Church of God in Macon County Tennessee. In six months, Community Connection begin to grow and was able to purchase their own building. After dedicated renovations to a sock store, COMMUNITY CONNECTION CHURCH held its first service in their building in January 2014.
Since that Sunday God has done some incredible things. In 2015, The Lafayette Church of God and Community Connection merged as one church promoting the LOVE of Christ in the surrounding area. With the merger came more renovations and dedicated labor. The coming together of the two churches allowed for a greater influence in the community and offered more resources for ministry.
Community Connection has continued to grow. In the last 3 years we’ve added several ministries, from feeding the community to our Mother's Day Out (MDO) Program and hiring a dedicated Youth Pastor. God is blessing us and you are invited to join the journey.

Expanding the vision...
The Lord is always at work in our life. It is a matter of observing the work taking place. Henry Blackby once said, "The Lord is always in moving, are you going to join HIM" We want to continue to join HIM by continue to reach our community. Expanding our food network, adding teachers to our MDO and praying for the hurting that they would experience healing.

Community Connection Church welcomes all people. Just like our Savior Jesus, we don't discriminate against anyone, You will not be met with shame, guilt , or condemnation. We will not embarrass you on your first visit. What you can also expect is to find an open door where people will welcome you with open arms. It is our mission to live out the biblical mandates and show the Love of Christ.
